This FRITZ! Laboratory version has beta status. It was tested by us in standard environments before publication,
but may possibly lead to malfunctions. For any damage resulting from the use of the laboratory version,

Before you start testing the lab version
1) You are not yet using the latest firmware for your FRITZ!Box? Then first update the firmware to the current release firmware.
2) Save your current settings under "System / Backup".
You will need the saved settings if you want to switch from the laboratory firmware back to the release firmware.
Testing the laboratory version
If your FRITZ!Box has the current firmware version and your
current settings are saved, you can start the test
begin.
1) Unzip the file fritzbox-yyyy-labor-xxxxx.zip
2) Run the update via the FRITZ!Box user interface
through.
- navigate to System/Update in the menu on the left
- switch to the FRITZ!OS file tab
- Follow the instructions on the screen
- enter the path to the laboratory firmware in the input field and
this itself (FRITZ.Box_xxxx-0x.xx-xxxxx-Labor.image).
3) The firmware is transferred to the FRITZ!Box. Afterwards
The FRITZ!Box restarts itself.
Reset to the status before the start of the test
You can do so at any time under System > Update > FRITZ!OS version
Switch back to the official FRITZ!OS or use the FRITZ!Box
Help with the included Windows program "*recover.exe" (in
Laboratory package included) switch back to the official FRITZ!OS.
